YOUR CHARACTER ATTRACTED A LOT OF YOUNG FANS. WHY DO YOU THINK THIS WAS? Maybe because she was a Paediatrician, she always had a good approach with kids - not patronising then like alot of people would do. i also think Holly was a good person with a great sense of fun, even though the last series didnt really enable me to bring that out in her. instead she was a paranoid basket-case! HOLLY SPENT WEEKS BEING STALKED BY TOM, THE ANAESTHESTIST. PLAYED BY KIERON FORSYTH. DID YOU GET ON WELL WITH KIERON IN REAL-LIFE? Kieron was an absolute joy to work with. Nothing like his sinister counterpart. one of the funniest guys on the set and yet dedicated to his performance always giving 110%. WHEN YOU LEFT 'FAMILY AFFAIRS' YOU KEPT YOUR CHARACTERS GRAVESTONE AS A MEMENTO. DID YOU TAKE ANY MEMENTOES FROM CASUALTY? DID YOU CRY ON YOUR LAST DAY? My badges really and that was it. i think I've got some 'scrubs' somewhere as well but they were pinched from the documentry we did. i managed not to get too emotional on my last day but cracked slightly when saying goodbye to Derek. It wasnt a good day. These interview questions were from the Casualty fan club newsletter, to become part of the fan club see the addresses page.

Here is some info from Sandra Huggett from various newspapers. Last years star studded annual soap awards proved to be a night to remember and one that Sandra Huggett would like to forget. Sandra who plays Holly Miles in Casualty was thrilled to receive an invitation to the glitzy bash and had a great time until someone stepped on her foot! 2It wasnt until the next morning that I relised how bad it was. My foot was black and blue and swollen up like a balloon. A doctor told me Id burst a blood vessel it was nothing serious but I wouldnt feel anything in my toes for a while he was right! (The weekly News) Holly Miles in BBC1s long running drama, being up to her elbow in the fake red stuff is something she takes in her stride. But when Sandra did her shift at the Royal London Hospital Whitechapel, a patient with the tip of his finger hanging off, after trapping it in a suitcase was enough to start he stomach churning. It was a minor injury but just watching the doctors cleaning it and stitching it was enough to make me feel queasy. You feel sick when youre just looking at real blood. Its just knowing its free flowing and theres such a lot of it! (Whats on TV) Age: 26 Style: dishy doctor Attitude: Fun- loving but sensible. Finest hour: Landing her role in Family affairs role soon after leaving drama school then going straight into Casualty after that. Dont mention: This years soap awards someone trod on my foot and it went up like a balloon. What next: Taking up golf, though shes no intention of following in the footsteps of her famous golfer father Brian or taking lessons from him! She says: He once tried to teach me to drive a car and it was a nightmare. (DailyMail TV guide) |
